To improve the ability to withstand biotic and abiotic stress conditions as well as to increase yield and seed composition, breeders apply various genomic-based techniques such as genome assistance, selection, and sequencing. However, developing tolerance against abiotic stresses using a breeding strategy is a challenging task because of the complex genetic makeup and environmental factors. We address how proteomic analysis can be used to target stress mitigation in soybean under abiotic stresses.
